We accept 2 year old and 30 hour funding
Abbeydale Playgroup has been successfully running since 1985 and is a registered Charity. We are now based at Matson House, Matson Lane, Gloucester. The Playgroup is run by extremely enthusiastic, well qualified staff who provide a safe and happy environment for the children in their care, and managed by a voluntary committee of parents elected annually.

We provide sessional childcare and take children from the age of 2 years old. Please register your interest as soon as possible!
The Importance of Playgroups
Attending a playgroup helps children be away from their parents/main carers, begin to make friends, learn to share and have different experiences to extend their development. If you are interested in your child joining our playgroup please get in touch! We do have a waiting list however it is never to early to put down your child's name.
Mixed Age Session Times (children can stay all day)
Monday to Friday: 8.45am -12pm & 12.15pm - 2.45pm
Breakfast Club - available Monday to Friday 8.15am to 8.45am
Pre-School Children - there will be opportunities within the above sessions for pre-school children to gain the skills that will enable their transition to school to be as smooth as possible. We give them new experiences and opportunities, develop their learning and development.....and have lots of fun!
