Playgroup Manager - Level 6 Early Years Practitioner & Designated Safeguarding Lead & Senco
Hi my name is Martine, I live in the Forest of Dean with my family. My early years experience started over twenty years ago. I have been fortunate enough to work in early years, primary and secondary settings. I have a genuine interest in children's well being. I take pride in each child's achievements and encourage them to flourish and grow.
Qualifications: Batchelor of Arts in Early Childhood (Level 6), Paediatric First Aid, Safe Guarding, Senco training

Hi, my name is Kirsty. I live in Upton St Leonard's with my children and one dog. I have had many years early years experience. I enjoy all aspects of the job, I love watching the children grow and bloom into confident caring little people.
Qualifications - NFCE CACHE level 3 in childcare & education. New to Senco training. Pediatric first aid, safeguarding & behaviour management. Fire training

Hi, I'm Karen. I have predominately worked in administration and finance in the past but I am also Level 3 qualified to work with children. Having chaired my children's local playgroup I then worked there for 4 years as a Keyworker. I have two very active boys and as a family we lead a very active lifestyle.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, HND Business & Finance

Hi my name is Lynette. I live in Abbeymead with my husband and our two children. Both of our children attended Abbeydale Playgroup, I have also been chair of the playgroup when my eldest was still attending. I am currently completing an apprenticeship to become a qualified level 3 practitioner.

Hi my name is Amy. I live in Abbeymead with my and two children. My daughter came to Abbeydale Playgroup and had a wonderful time here. I have worked here since 2017 and am happy to have been appointed Green group Key Person having completed my level 3 NVQ.

Hi my name is Jen. I have worked in childcare for 5 years now and have been with Abbeydale Playgroup since October 2015. I have a Level 3 Qualification. I love the job and enjoy seeing how the children learn through play in the setting. Also how they change to be ready for school when they leave. Out of work i have two children of my own who keep me busy!
Qualifications: City and Guilds level 3 CYPW, First Aid and Safeguarding.

Hi my name is Vicky and I live in Abbeymead with my husband and 2 children. Both my boys attended playgroup and made many friends who are now at school with them. I have worked at Abbeydale Playgroup since June 2022, so still very new to the role, but I also sat on the committee for over 5yrs so I know lots about the playgroup already. I have a real passion for looking after children and I really enjoy seeing them grow and develop.

About
Abbeydale Playgroup is a committee run playgroup. The committee work along with the staff to give the best possible care for the children. We value everyone's skills, as everyone has something different to give. Meetings are currently held in the evening once every half term. We also appreciate any other help you can offer, i.e. shopping, collating paperwork, providing skills such as ICT, HR or any other skills you may have that may be useful.
Please consider becoming a committee member, without a committee there will be no playgroup for your children to attend.
